Although the Prophet PBUH on one hand gave suitable advice to his followers on earthly affairs when such situations were brought to his attention, on the other hand he tried his best to create confidence in themselves so that they could act according to their own experience and opinions. Once, while withdrawing his advice given earlier on the cross pollination of date palm he said, “Whenever I command you to do something related to religion, do obey. And if I command you something about earthly matters, act on your own (experience) and (do remember) I am a human being.”
Headaches & Migraines رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ جَامِعُ النَّاسِ لِيَوْمٍ لاَّ رَيْبَ فِيهِ إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَادَ Prophet’s Guidance on treating headaches and Migraines روى ابن ماجه فى "سننه" حديثاً فى صحته نظر: أنَّ النبى صلى الله عليه وسلم كان إذا صُدِع، غَلَّفَ رأسَه بالحنَّاءِ، ويقول: "إنَّهُ نافعٌ بإذنِ الله من الصُّداعِ". Narrated by Ibn Majah that whenever Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam suffered from a headache, he used to cover his head with Henna (Khazaab) and said, "Henna helps to relieve headache by the permission of Allaah". Headaches resemble a pain that appears in some part of the head or all of it; but when the headache attacks one side of the head, it is called migraine.
