TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM

TOLERANCE WITH PEOPLE IN ISLAM Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahiim
Was Salatu Was Salamu Alaa RASULULLAHI

The scholars of prophetic narrations understood tolerance to be a very important concept in Islam and specifically in business.

Ibn Majah includes in his Sunan a chapter entitled, “On tolerance in trade,” in which he records the following narration:

Imam Uthman ibn Affan may ALLAH be pleased with him reported: The Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
ALLAH the Exalted will admit a man into Paradise who was easy in his buying and selling, in his paying debts and seeking repayments.
Sunan An-Nasa’I 4696.

Therefore, Muslims should always treat others with respect, kindness, and patience. Islam was revealed to make life easier and to encourage good relationships between people.

In modern usage, the word “tolerance” has come to signify mutual respect and peaceful coexistence between conflicting religions and ideologies. No doubt, Islam supports tolerance on a societal level. Muslims ought to peacefully coexist with any group that desires peaceful coexistence and show kindness to soften their hearts towards Islam.

*_May ALLAH keep guiding us all and increases us in beneficial knowledge_*. Aameen. Jazakumullahu khair wa barakallahu fiikum Ajma'in.

Islamic Foundations of Well-Being

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahiim DO NOT FORGET TO RECITE SURATUL KAHF today As Sunnah of every Juma'a. Barakallahu Fiikum Ajma'iin The Prophet Muhammad laid down the foundation for a social order in which every member of society was advised to maintain a healthy life, physically, psychologically, and spiritually. No aspect of life was to be disregarded. In the opinion of Douglas Guthrie (A History of Medicine, 1945), great advances in medicine made by Muslims during the Middle Ages were mainly due to the impact of the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Guthrie writes, “Had not the Prophet Muhammad himself said, ‘O Servant of God, use medicine, because God hath not created a pain without a remedy for it’”? Guthrie failed to quote the source of this important prophetic saying, but it is obvious that he was referring to the famous hadith from Tirmidhi (one of the six most important collections of prophetic traditions). As a matter of fact, there are several such sayings in...

He said, "Place it on the pimple. He then said, Say, O Allah who Transforms the big to small and the small to big, make what I am suffering from small".     Tharirah (Arum) is an Indian remedy made of arum cane. Treating Headaches & Migraines Islamically using Prophetic Medicine (SAW)

Prophet’s Guidance on treating headaches and Migraines Narrated by Ibn Majah that whenever Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam suffered from a headache, he used to cover his head with Henna (Khazaab) and said, "Henna helps to relieve headache by the permission of Allaah".   Headaches resemble a pain that appears in some part of the head or all of it; but when the headache attacks one side of the head, it is called migraine. The type that attacks the entire head is sometimes called a helmet, for it resembles the helmet that covers the head. Furthermore, headaches sometimes attack only the back or the front side of the head.   There are m...
